Reiki is a Japanese word that refers to the concept of Universal Life Force Energy. A Reiki Practitioner is attuned to channel this Universal Life Force Energy. Once attuned to the Reiki Ray the ability to use Reiki remains for life.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?
The Reiki Practitioner channels this Universal Life Force Energy through her body, passing it out through the hands to the person. The energy is not directed by the practitioner but will go wherever it is required. The treatment takes place fully clothed, usually lying on a massage table or sitting in a chair.
FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF SESSION
The duration varies according to the needs of the individual but is often between 30 to 60 minutes. Ideally weekly treatments are recommended to stimulate the body to cleanse and help the energy to balance. Follow up monthly treatments are often beneficial
